TOKYO — Model Marie, 22, rocked Harajuku this week with a “guerrilla live” show alongside American model-turned-celeb Caroline D’Amore, 25. The two girls belted out “Love Like This One,” a bonus track on D’Amore’s new album “J-Girls’ Celebrity Mix.” The album - a “non-stop mix of 31 girls’ pop songs” - went on sale Wednesday.

Marie and D’Amore met in May and said they instantly hit it off. D’Amore has jetted back into Japan several times since, serving as a DJ and model in the Kobe Collection and the Tokyo Girls Collection, two big-time events in the women’s fashion world held earlier this year. D’Amore recently asked Marie if she would care to join forces as a “celebrity combination,” and Marie took her up on the offer to work on the new single.

Mariewas asked when she would be getting her first CD out, but she said it wasn’t likely as she wasn’t a singer. But moments later, she declared alongside D’Amore that if possible, the pair would like to sing at NHK’s end-of-year Red and White Singing Contest.
“Love Like This One” will be used as the ending theme song for TV Tokyo’s broadcast of popular American reality show “The Hills.” Marie will act as commentator for Season 4 of “The Hills,” to show on Wednesday nights at 12.43 a.m., starting Sept 9.
